Q. To whom does the new intellectual property belong? PDF Print E-mail
A. To IRI, since it created it at its own expense. The client's statement of need for the new product or the description of the new product's desired performance are not patentable and are not intellectual property. However, IRI offers the client world-wide exclusive rights to the intellectual property as part of the licensing agreement. Also read our procedures (http://www.inventresources.com/content/view/35/62/).
